Our Experience
YUNI Environmental coordinates environmental impact assessments on proposed energy pipeline routes and LNG infrastructure footprints. We conduct wildlife and pre-clearing songbird nest surveys, amphibian salvage and produce species-at-risk habitat modeling and GIS mapping along pipeline corridors and infrastructure.
We believe that not all oil and gas development is necessarily required. However, when energy resource development is required or a project has been approved it proceed, it should be completed in the most environmentally sound, sensitive and sustainable manner

What We Do
- Conduct environmental impact assessments to determine best alternate pipeline routes and LNG infrastructure footprints.
Conduct baseline inventories and design environmental monitoring programs and implementation plans.
Produce species-at-risk habitat modeling and GIS mapping along pipeline corridor and for infrastructure areas to guide routing and siting.
Complete pre-clearing wildlife and bird nest surveys and amphibian salvage to guide construction scheduling and minimize project impacts.
Initiate, manage and submit Applications to the Environmental Assessment Office for Environmental Assessment Certificate approval.
Work together with First Nations to incorporate traditional knowledge and development concerns into project goals.
Consult with stakeholders to ensure their concerns are addressed responsibly and in an honest and forthright manner.
Initiate meaningful dialogue and negotiate equitable partnership agreements with affected First Nations.
Design compensation plans and install habitat enhancements to meet or exceed project sustainability goals.
